World AIDS Day, designated on December 1st, is an international day and is the start of activities dedicated to raising awareness of the AIDS pandemic. People around the world unite to show support for people living with HIV/AIDS and to remember those who have died from AIDS-related illnesses. This observance is an opportunity for all DST chapters to unite in the fight against against HIV/AIDS and incorporate this year’s theme: Put People First!
